Seven airports compared: distance, transfer time and who each one suits.
In short
Madonna di Campiglio has no airport: you land on the plain and the last stretch is by road.
Among the major airports the nearest is Verona (2 h 20), but it has fewer flights and they are often pricier. The best value is usually Bergamo (2 h 40), with plenty of low-cost flights. Milan and Venice are for flights from further away.
Planning your holiday in Madonna di Campiglio and choosing your flight? The resort has
no airport: you land on the plain and drive up from there.
In this guide we compare the airports our guests fly into: how far they are, how long
it takes and who each one suits, so you can choose your flight with the last stretch
in mind too.
The bar is the private transfer journey to Madonna di Campiglio, door to door, without heavy traffic or snow. For Pinzolo, about ten minutes less.
Among the major airports, the nearest to Madonna di Campiglio is Verona Villafranca:
about 2 h 20 (165 km). Only Bolzano is closer, but it has
very few flights: more on that below.
Verona, however, has fewer connections than Bergamo or Milan, and flights are often
pricier. If you find a convenient flight for your dates it is the quickest choice; otherwise it is
worth comparing fares to Bergamo.
1. Private transfer from Verona:
the driver meets you at arrivals, tracks your flight and takes you to the door of your hotel
in about 2 h 20, with luggage and skis on board.
2. Public transport: the shuttle to Verona station, the train to Trento and the bus to
Campiglio. It costs less, but takes 3-4 hours with two changes.

Orio al Serio is one of the Italian airports with the most low-cost flights, from almost all of Europe: this is often where you find the cheapest flight. It is about 2 h 40 (176 km) from Madonna di Campiglio, some twenty minutes more than Verona.
1. Private transfer from Bergamo:
from the arrivals exit to the door of your hotel in about 2 h 40,
with no changes.
2. Public transport: buses and trains to Trento, then the bus to Campiglio. It takes
several changes and hours more: what you save on the flight can be lost in time.

Linate is the city airport, with domestic and European flights: about 3 h (206 km). Malpensa is the main long-haul airport of northern Italy: if you fly in from the United States, Asia or the Middle East you will probably land there, about 3 h 40 (261 km) from Campiglio.
Yes, if the direct flight only goes there or costs much less. After a long flight a private transfer spares you stations and changes: the driver meets you at arrivals and off you go. Malpensa is the longest drive: if you land late in the evening, bear it in mind.
Venice Marco Polo has flights from all over Europe and long-haul ones too; Treviso, nearby, is used mostly by low-cost airlines. Treviso is a little closer to Campiglio: about 3 h 20 against 3 h 40.
The journey goes via Trento and it is long: with a private transfer it is one single trip, from arrivals to your hotel, with no train or bus timetables to chase. We track your flight and from landing waiting is free for 1 hour. The transfer from Treviso · from Venice.
Bolzano is the nearest airport of all, about 2 h,
but it has few scheduled flights: worth it only if there is one that suits you. It is also easy
to reach by train, on the Brenner line, and we pick you up at the station:
the transfer from Bolzano.
Innsbruck and Munich are across the Alps: we serve them on request. Send us
your dates and times and we will send you a quote.
Before booking your flight, look at these four things:
1. Flight first, road second: a direct flight to Bergamo can get you there sooner than one
with a stopover to Verona. What counts is when you reach your hotel, not the kilometres.
2. Your arrival time: if you land in the evening, public buses may have already stopped. With
a private transfer the driver waits for you anyway, and we track your flight.
3. How many you are: with family or friends one vehicle for everybody is good value, and the
price per person goes down. For groups there is a dedicated page: group
transfers.
4. Saturdays in winter: it is changeover day at the hotels, and with snow and traffic the
journey takes longer. Better not to book your return flight too tight.
Bolzano, about 2 hours away by road, but it has few scheduled flights. Among the major airports the nearest is Verona (VRN): about 2 hours 20 minutes and 165 km by private transfer.
Usually Bergamo (BGY), which has the most low-cost flights: it is about 2 hours 40 minutes from Madonna di Campiglio, some twenty minutes more than Verona.
About 261 km, 3 hours 40 minutes by private transfer. Linate is closer: about 3 hours.
No: there is no railway to Madonna di Campiglio. You can take the train as far as Trento and continue by road, or make the whole journey by private transfer, from the arrivals exit to the door of your hotel.
We track your flight: if it lands late, the driver already knows and waits for you. From landing you always have 1 hour of free waiting, included in the price; beyond that, the cost of waiting is shown in your quote.
Found your flight and want to know what the last stretch costs? Send us your dates and where you are coming from: we reply the same day with a quote, free and with no obligation.
